Bambu Lab makes a kit to build this model jet engine. It contains all of the hardware, with over 300 small parts such as bolts, nuts, bearings, and washers.
When I initially “finished” assembling and gluing the jet engine, I sat back and I saw a giant bearing on the counter. The glue that I used was a chemical adhesive that fused the plastic parts together. This resulted in me trying to rip it apart with the vise, melt pieces off with the soldering iron, and drilling holes with a drill press.
The long rod attached to the fan snapped off, and instead of reprinting the entire fan, I came up with a solution to just print the rod piece and glue them together. The layer lines failed before the glued joints failed, so I am confident in this repair.
