I got a PC power supply from Goodwill for $3. It had a large fan on top and I decided to repurpose it into a soldering fume extractor. I bought small carbon filter squares to slot in front of the fan. I had many issues (mostly with my personal printer) and it’s not perfect, but it does the job well
I designed the base so each component could be printed separately and iterated on without having to waste much time or plastic during printing. At the end once each component was perfect, I combined them into the full model for printing.
